Tom Grove “comes home” to Lanes for Drains in East Anglia

Tom Grove has come home to join the team at the Lanes for Drains St Neots depot as the area development manager for East Anglia.

Tom had been carrying out the same role at our Rainham depot, covering London and Essex, promoting Lanes’ drain unblocking, drainage repairs and drain relining services.

He is extremely pleased to join the team at in East Anglia, because he lives just four miles from the depot at Chester Road, Colmworth Business Park, Eaton Socon, St Neots, in Cambridgeshire.

Tom explained: “When the opportunity came up at St Neots, I asked for the transfer because my wife has been ill recently and it would be helpful to work closer to home.

“Lanes, being the sort of company that helps and supports its staff, agreed that I could make the move.

“I have lived in the St Neots area for many years, so I hope my local knowledge will help me introduce new clients into the depot, and offer them a comprehensive and high quality drain unblocking, drainage repair and rehabilitation service.”

Tom has been able to transfer to St Neots because the previous area development manager, Mark Reed, has been promoted within Lanes for Drains to become a business development manager for the South of England.

Tom added: “Mark has done an excellent job in his time at St Neots, he thoroughly deserves his promotion. I hope I can continue to build on his success, and by working with the team here at St Neots, continue to increase the profile of the company and develop the business in East Anglia.

“He’s a tough act to follow, however I’m confident we can continue to impress current and new customers. We have a great team at St Neots, using the latest drainage equipment and techniques for drain repairs and renewals.”
