From pan and tilt.....
Our standard pan and tilt camera units and WinCan software means that you can see the results of a drain, sewer or pipe inspection for yourself on DVD, all supported by a full technical report. Wincan enables over 450 independent checks of data to be included in your CCTV survey, validating the coding and making every survey comply with Wita/0520 pipeline surveying accreditation.
...to 360º Panoramo
Our Panoramo 3D Optoscanner surveys 360 degrees of a pipe, so it sees and records every millimetre of a drain or sewer at one pass. Travelling at up to 35cm per second, Panoramo takes thousands of photos which the software then joins together to give a 3D view of the pipe. The viewer is not limited to seeing what the CCTV operator chose to record, but can navigate the drain or sewer at his or her own speed, via the recorded footage, as if it were real-time. Using Panoramo like a virtual camera, you can pan, rotate, stop, turn full circle, zoom, capture images, measure distances — even produce an unfolded view of the pipe’s inner surface.
....and LISY for laterals
Designed especially for surveys of lateral drains, sewers and pipes, the LISY sat cam is quick and cost effective because it works from the mainline sewer or drain, without the need to access each property. LISY will travel a mainline sewer for up to 100-metres until it comes to a blind lateral; then the satellite camera (sat cam) is deployed to CCTV survey 33-metres up the branch connection. LISY is in demand as water companies prepare to take over responsibility for private sewers with forthcoming legislation (for more information visit the DEFRA website).
Profiling: CCTV survey with extras
Profiler fits onto the CCTV survey camera unit to gather data about the shape of a drain or sewer. It projects a laser ring on to the internal surface of the pipe. From that, Profiler records the ‘ovality’ (how far the pipe has deviated from its original round shape), capacity and other conditions such as pipe size, deformation, etc., all to an accuracy of 1mm.
Profiler’s software generates reports showing data for any engineering and design purposes. Flat Analysis, for example, opens up and ‘flattens’ the pipe, colour coding deformed areas of the pipe in millimetres. The Ovality Analysis produces a graph with deformation shown as a percentage, whilst Media Diameter reveals the average diameter and peaks as a measurement, and Capacity Analysis shows the percentage of reduced or increased capacity in each area.
