Blocked drains and drainage service in Mid and South Wales

Our Cardiff depot, in Pontyclun, CF72, tackles blocked drains and drain repairs across South Wales and beyond. This expanding branch with its ever-growing customer base is a credit to the management team and frontline drain engineers who provide a 24-hour emergency response to clients with blocked drains across Monmouthshire, Carmarthenshire, Caerphilly, Rhondda Taff, Bridgend, Swansea, Glamorgan, Neath Port Talbot, Torfaen, Cardiff and Newport. This team also heads out West to Pembrokeshire, North West to Ceredigion and Aberystwyth, North to Powys, and North East as far as Hereford and Leominster.

But Lanes offers way more than just an emergency service for blocked drains. In fact we’re experts in anything and everything about drains. If you’re moving home, for instance, you’ll probably commission a survey. But you won’t find your property surveyor including a report about the state of the drains at your dream home (or commercial property). But Lanes can. We’ll tell you whether there is root ingress, illegal waste connections, or fractured or damaged pipes, before you find out the hard way. What’s more we offer very reasonable fixed rates for our housebuyers’ drainage surveys. Just ask us for a quote.

Then there’s waste disposal. That’s a big part of what we do. Whether it’s emptying and cleaning septic tanks, or interceptors, Lanes is a registered waste handler, able to dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste whilst meeting all regulations, and completing full documentation too. (Check out our news story Lanes test technology to the limit with septic tank cleaning below.)

Fixing a damaged drain couldn’t be easier with Lanes on the case. And digging deep with traditional techniques like excavation (though we do that too) isn’t the only option, because we also use the most advanced no-dig technology so that we can refurbish damaged pipes underground with minimum disruption to you and your property, and in the shortest possible time. CIPP (Cured In Place Pipe) involves lining the drain or sewer with a special material or liner. That can be used for the full length of the pipe, or in smaller targeted areas using a method known as patch lining. Naturally, because we’re Lanes, the UK’s largest independent drainage specialist, we have all the latest equipment and expert staff you could wish for. When it comes to drain technology, we’re proud to say that we’re market leaders. And rightly so.

Problem with your drains? Or just need advice from the experts? Look no further. And remember: if you do find yourself with blocked drains, whatever the time of day or night, we’re all you need to know.
