Lanes: a multi-disciplinary contractor to the rail industry.

What began years ago as a contract with London Underground has burgeoned into a full operating division of the Lanes Group plc. Today Lanes is an established and reputable, multi-disciplinary contractor to the rail sector — right across the country.
In an industry which moves so fast, changes have to be responded to quickly, effectively and professionally. And that means using contractors which are flexible, knowledgeable and resourceful in equal quantities.
With an impressive track record of rail achievements under our belt, there is no doubt that Lanes’ name is synonymous with projects that are delivered on time and on budget; and, crucially, carried out to the letter when it comes to health and safety.
Rail division clients
Little wonder that Lanes is a fully accredited and preferred contractor for the likes of Metronet, TubeLines, Network Rail, LUL, Docklands Light Railway, CTRL and Transport for London amongst others. And the list is growing. We are equally happy to work directly with the rail companies, or with main contractors like Carillion and Balfour Beatty on large-scale civil engineering schemes, we’re absolutely committed to service excellence and quality, whoever the client, whatever the project.
