The rail sector is a key component of our strategic business plan, and has been since 1992, providing reactive and planned civil engineering works to a client base across the National Rail, London Underground and several light rail networks. As such, we are ideally positioned to work closely with our clients, delivering exactly what they need and investing heavily in specialist staff training and resources in order to do so.
A foundation of health and safety excellence underpins our entire rail enterprise, with Sentinel administrators embedded in our ranks and a raft of health and safety awards supporting our Essential Standards Safety Initiative that consistently surpasses industry-wide standards.

Lanes Rail is divided logically into two:
- Multi-disciplined contractor for London Underground which operates out of our Rainham depot.
- UK-wide depot network responsible for the management of Network Rail platform, station and trackside drainage projects.
