Blocked sea outfall

Lanes Group successfully cleared a 160-metre sea outfall pipe, which had become blocked due to the deterioration of an existing section of brick egg outfall.

In this unusual project, Lanes worked long shift patterns to accommodate rapidly changing sea levels. We then leveraged several unorthodox techniques to clear the blockage, including digging a sump on the beach itself and using a 60m jet vac hose to blast the blockage away.
