Lanes Group helps local church carry out essential repairs

Lanes Group drainage engineers in Sheffield have joined other contractors in helping carry out essential repairs and refurbishment work on a local church house.

The team based at the Lanes depot, in Greenland, donated their time and services free of charge to help Spa View Community Church, in Spa View Road, Hackenthorpe, Sheffield.

Lanes drainage engineer Roger Gaffour attended to clear several blocked drains on the site, and jet clean the drains around the church and the community centre.

Other companies that supported the church, donating time, equipment and materials, included an electrical contractor, a builder, a tree surgeon, a cleaning company and a bathroom and plumbing firm.
