Emergency fatberg removal

During routine work, Lanes Group Utilities discovered a five-tonne, 20 metre-long fatberg blocking a sewer in Central London. The fatberg could have caused localised flooding during Christmas, so removal was a matter of urgency.

Lanes blasted the fatberg with one of its JHL Superflex high-suction recycler jet vac tankers and vacuumed up the remaining chunks for proper disposal.
