Fatberg removal and sewer replacement

Our client Thames Water commissioned Lanes Group to remove a fatberg; a mass of congealed fat, wet wipes and other debris in Chelsea, London. The fatberg weighed 10 tonnes and was 50 metres long.

The object had weakened the structural integrity of the sewer in the immediate vicinity, so we worked to replace elements of the sewage system.
