CSR

lanes_csr
Our corporate social responsibility (CSR) panel has been in place since 2014, with set CSR aims and objectives up to 2020 and beyond. These policies are, of course, as applicable to our domestic operations as they are with multi million pound commercial, rail or utilities projects.

We have always been committed to keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum, for instance, as well as to providing an efficient service with the most responsible possible usage of resources and equipment. Further, we maintain a level of service that is both considerate and local, even within a network as large as ours.

When it comes to community, we can honestly say that our commitment is unrivalled and genuine. Case in point, our work with national charity Hand on Heart, supporting them in the provision of defibrillators and appropriate training to schools located in the same areas as our depots. Making these devices available helps to save the lives of anyone in or around the schools who suffers sudden heart complications.

The CSR panel is a relatively recent addition to Lanes Group, but these principles have formed the foundation of our operations for years, and we have no intention of relenting on them in the future.

PrintModern Day Slavery

Under our CSR ethos, we undertake to ensure that no employees of Lanes Group, or its suppliers, are involved in modern day slavery.

Further, we aim to raise awareness amongst all our staff to increase their vigilance and the likelihood of them being able to identify the practice. Our Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy is available on request.
