Power Station Demolition
Energy company E.ON commissioned demolition specialists Brown and Mason to decommission the 2,000 megawatt Kingsnorth dual-fired coal and oil power station, which ceased generating electricity in December 2012.
Brown and Mason contracted Lanes Group to provide specialist drainage services, including CCTV drainage surveys and pipe cleaning during the lengthy decommissioning process.
Major Culvert Survey and Clean
East Sussex County Council needed to know the location, connections and condition of a major culverted water course through Eastbourne. The information was vital to put in place robust flood defence plans for the town. Lanes Group was commissioned to survey and clean the culvert, providing the county council with the information it needed to plan effectively for the future.
