Commercial Septic Tank Installation
There are a whole host of factors to be considered before a septic tank can be installed, including geology and ground conditions. At Lanes, we’ve been doing this for years, so you will find us the perfect partner to determine the possibilities and the ideal location for your septic tank installation.
Be clear on your responsibilities
If you have a septic tank, it’s your responsibility to make sure it meets the standards set by the latest environmental legislation.
For example, new rules came into full effect in January 2020 prohibiting septic tanks from discharging directly into a watercourse, with a fine of up to £100,000 for those that do not follow these rules.
For commercial clients, it is also necessary to remember to keep an auditable paper trail that records how often your tank is being emptied, and who is responsible for handling the waste.

Lanes’ septic tank services don’t stop at installation and location advice. We source the right model and size based upon the likely wastewater output of your business or premises. Then we install it too. Just ask for more details.
The final installation
An expert team from your local Lanes depot will install your septic tank, responsibly and with minimal disruption. After installation, we also offer a service agreement for tank emptying and maintenance in the future. And of course we are happy to provide advice and maintenance tips so that you avoid back-ups, blockages and odour issues.
