When sewers, drains or pipes collapse completely, we can no longer use no-dig technology, instead drafting in our NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) qualified civils team. These Lanes operatives will be tasked with excavating and replacing the damaged sewer, and reinstating the new replacement to as near to its pre-working condition as possible – all with minimum disruption.
When excavation is overkill, and the installation of a full liner is too, we can opt for sewer repairs through patching instead. Instead of relining the entire pipe, we can install short liner in a specific section of the pipe using thermal or ambient curing systems, inspect it with CCTV and then re-open lateral connections before fully recommissioning the pipe for normal day-to-day use.
Safety adherence throughout.
At Lanes, the health and safety of our staff and yours in equal measure is paramount. We not only operate to the very latest industry standards, but go beyond even that, defining and implementing our own (subsequently award winning) additional measures and protocols to guarantee safety across the board, no matter what job we are carrying out.
