Avoid costly disasters
Environment Agency’s Pollution Prevention Guidelines (PPG) and ISO 14001 Environmental Management standard recommend regular maintenance for commercial drainage interceptors.
Regular cleaning and emptying interceptor systems helps protect you against the possibility of environmental incidents, which could be extremely costly — in fines and clean up charges, not to mention damage to the environment.
With Lanes’ complete interceptor service
Lanes will ensure that your interceptors are emptied when necessary, either at regular intervals through planned maintenance programmes, or by installing advanced interceptor monitoring technology which raises the alarm to trigger the emptying process. Early warnings and timely action could prevent costly and unnecessary remedial action later.
Using technology
Utilising new and unique pollution prevention and control technology, we install interceptor alarms to monitor iridescence (fuel contamination on the top of the liquid) levels of the fluid in the interceptor, around the clock. The alarm also monitors silt levels which can reduce the effectiveness and capacity of the unit. The monitor can be operated remotely and connected to alert systems by text and email — or directly to Lanes’ emergency response system so that we empty the interceptor, removing silt and contaminant waste to a registered waste site, without you having to ask.
And know how
Our experienced, expert teams, fully kitted out with personal protective equipment and efficient, advanced technology will carry out planned maintenance work on your drain interceptors at times and a regularity to suit you and your business.
