CSR

csr_commercialOur corporate social responsibility (CSR) panel has been in place since 2014, with set CSR aims and objectives up to 2020 and beyond.

Though the CSR panel is a relatively recent addition to our group, CSR principles have formed the foundation of operations throughout Lanes for years. We have maintained a consistent commitment to keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum, to providing an efficient service with the most responsible usage of resources and equipment – all with a view to having a positive impact on both the lives of our staff, and the communities in which we operate.

At the same time, we emphasis innovation, driving the group forward to ensure its long term growth, and developing a thriving workplace with a sustainable future. This is achieved with our own initiatives, and close collaboration with our various rail partners, aligning ourselves with their values.

We are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved since our very first day of operation, as well as our continued ability to offer considerate, local service within a huge network of depots. When it comes to community, we can honestly say that our commitment is unrivalled and genuine.

PrintModern Day Slavery

Under our CSR ethos, we undertake to ensure that no employees of Lanes Group, or its suppliers, are involved in modern day slavery.

Further, we aim to raise awareness amongst all our staff to increase their vigilance and the likelihood of them being able to identify the practice. Our Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy is available on request.
