Chris Wilde serves as the CCTV systems manager here at Lanes Group, playing a key role in overseeing the CCTV department. The team looks after all aspects of our CCTV surveying activity, which allows us to diagnose defects and make much-needed repairs to our customers’ drains and sewers.

Chris is a Lanes veteran who has been with the company for around 20 years in total. He first started with us when he was 16, when Lanes was still a relatively small company, and has been a member of the senior management team since 2009.

His expertise in CCTV surveying and project management has been honed over many years. Over the course of his career, he has carried out vital surveying work on the City of Manchester stadium – now the home of Manchester City – while it was still under construction, and he has attended over 80 different training courses during his time at Lanes.

As a fully qualified trainer, surveyor and repair technician, Chris is passionate about passing on his industry knowledge and skills to other colleagues across Lanes’ many nationwide branches.

Outside of work, Chris’s resume is just as impressive. He is a talented artist, Tattooist and photographer, and he also made national headlines back in 2016 after heroically helping to rescue two teenage girls swimming in dangerous ocean waters off the Welsh coast while holidaying with his family.
