It has come to the attention of Lanes Group Plc that an unknown external person or organisation has been sending emails to others purporting to come from our company.

The emails have the domain name lanesgroups.co.uk. It should be noted that the correct domain name used by all Lanes Group employees is lanesgroup.co.uk or lanesfordrains.co.uk.

It is clear to us that these emails are part of a scam. Mobile numbers included in the emails are linked to premium rate numbers and should not be dialled. We would also advise recipients to delete the messages without opening them.

We can assure our customers, and the general public, that Lanes Group Plc and its employees have nothing whatsoever to do with the emails being sent.

We are urgently investigating this practice, and the use of our good name, in an attempt to stop the emails being sent. We have also reported this matter to the relevant authorities.
